What is Comprehensive Health Checkup?
In Japan, a Comprehensive Health Checkup—known as “Ningen Dock”—is a one-day or overnight program designed to detect diseases at their earliest stages, even before symptoms appear. Unlike the typical annual physical exam in the United States, which is usually limited to basic lab work and a brief doctor consultation, the Japanese approach emphasizes advanced imaging and thorough evaluation.
Our program includes:

Difference from U.S. Healthcare
As many of you know, in the United States patients usually need a referral from a primary care physician, and then must book appointments with various specialists themselves. This process often involves long waiting times—sometimes weeks or months—for imaging, tests, and receiving results. In addition, the overall cost is generally very high compared to Japan. By contrast, in Japan’s Human Dock system with Kaikoukai, you can undergo a comprehensive full-body checkup in a single day, with the added benefit of receiving an official English report the next day, making early detection and timely treatment possible.
